Installation Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Bernin, France; extensive travel throughout Europe, approximately 75% of working time

Salary: €38,400–€52,800 per year

What you will do

• Install semiconductor production equipment, including mechanical assembly, electrical connections, and robot calibration.
• Integrate, inspect, test, and troubleshoot systems before handover to service teams and customers.
• Follow installation checklists, procedures, schematics, security policies, and quality standards.
• Communicate equipment status, factory issues, pass-downs, and non-conformances with engineers and customers.
• Participate in escalation calls and continuous improvement projects to reduce installation time and costs.
• Provide accurate reporting of installation status and hours worked.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with a technical background in mechanical, electrical, electronics, mechatronics, equipment installation, maintenance, or a related field.
• Junior profiles are welcome.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage installation projects against budget, timelines, and quality requirements.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
