Finance Transformation Intern (Finance)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; hybrid work with in-person attendance at least three days per week at a hirify.global office or client site. Travel to client sites may be required.

Salary: $37 per hour.

What you will do

• Assess client finance operations and processes to identify transformation opportunities aligned with strategic objectives.
• Analyze client challenges, financial datasets, trends, and process performance to support effective solutions.
• Contribute to requirements definition, gap remediation, cost and cycle-time analysis, and finance process optimization.
• Support project teams with client meetings, communications, deliverables, and day-to-day project activities.
• Help design and implement sustainable finance and operations models that streamline processes and meet business needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to address questions, issues, and project requirements.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Experience with data analysis, quantitative analysis, financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and business case development.
• Basic understanding of close-the-books processes, chart of accounts, treasury, FP&A, and financial benchmarking.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, facilitation, presentation, teamwork, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. No visa sponsorship is available.
