UK Payroll Specialist (Payroll)

Location: Andover, United Kingdom; remote package also available in Poland. Hybrid role.

What you will do

• Process multiple UK payrolls accurately, on time, and according to client and statutory requirements.
• Review and validate payroll input and output data, investigate discrepancies, and correct errors before final processing.
• Provide payroll expertise and support to Payroll Associates.
• Respond to internal and client payroll queries through ticketing and email systems.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to solution development.
• Provide backup coverage for senior payroll team members to maintain service continuity.

Requirements

• Sound knowledge of end-to-end UK payroll processing, statutory regulations, and reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and email platforms.
• Strong organization, time management, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize multiple payrolls and manage workloads effectively.
• Confident communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a payroll bureau environment.
