Corporate FP&A Analyst (AI Automation)

Location: Arlington, Virginia; ideal candidates will be located in Houston, Texas or the greater Washington D.C.-Baltimore area. Flexible working arrangements include hybrid, remote, and virtual delivery.

What you will do

• Support annual budgeting, long-range planning, and periodic forecasting cycles.
• Build financial models, variance analyses, management reporting packages, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Analyze financial performance, trends, risks, and opportunities for finance leadership and business partners.
• Improve internal financial reporting, financial systems, workflows, and data management processes.
• Develop automation solutions across finance, including RPA, AI-enabled tools, and system-to-system integrations.
• Partner with Finance, IT, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Audit, and business stakeholders on transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or a related analytical role.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Collaborative, proactive, self-motivated approach with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial planning systems or ERP platforms such as Oracle EPM, Hyperion, or SAP.
• Experience with RPA tools, AI-driven finance solutions, or automation technologies.
• Understanding of financial system integrations and data flow optimization.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
