Senior FP&A Analyst (Software)

Salary: $115K - $120K USD (mix of base and bonus)

What you will do

• Drive annual budgeting and recurring forecast cycles for revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, and headcount.
• Analyze monthly budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual performance to identify variances and risks.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to review operating expenses and optimize costs.
• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reporting packages for executive management.
• Administer sales compensation processes, including tracking performance and calculating commission payouts.
• Build and enhance financial models to support strategic planning and scenario analysis.

Requirements

• Based in the United States (excluding Hawaii).
• 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or corporate finance.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience using AI in a practical way to improve workflows or automate tasks.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, PivotTables, Power Query).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting sales compensation programs and commission calculations.
• Experience with ERP systems, financial planning tools, and Power BI.
