Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

What you will do

• Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-range planning for assigned business areas.
• Build and maintain financial models covering revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, headcount, cash flow, and scenario planning.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages with budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual variance analyses.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Service, and other leaders to improve forecasts and support decisions.
• Monitor headcount, labor costs, capital expenditures, program spending, and other financial commitments.
• Analyze profitability by project, product, customer, and contract, and evaluate pricing, investment, new business, and cost-reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least seven years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or a related financial role.
• Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills with a strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, budgeting, and management reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including executive-level presentations.
• Experience with ERP, financial planning, reporting, and business intelligence systems.
• Strong communication, organizational, prioritization, independent judgment, and ownership skills.

Nice to have

• MBA or master’s degree.
• Experience with NetSuite.
• Experience in robotics, automation, technology, manufacturing, engineering, or capital equipment industries.
