Salary: $150,000 - $190,000

What you will do

• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to provide financial guidance and influence roadmap prioritization.
• Lead annual planning, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning cycles for the R&D organization.
• Manage cost dashboards using native tools like AWS Cost Explorer and Google Cloud Billing.
• Develop business cases and scenario models to evaluate the financial impact of pricing and packaging changes.
• Collaborate with Accounting during monthly closes to ensure accurate accruals and variance analysis on engineering spend.
• Draft financial narratives and dashboards for senior executive reviews.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of FP&A or Strategic Finance experience, preferably in a high-growth SaaS environment.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills with experience building complex operational and financial models.
• Proven track record of influencing executive decision-making through financial insights.
• Ability to translate technical engineering jargon into clear business recommendations.
• Must be able to work onsite 3x/week (Tues-Thurs) from the San Mateo, CA headquarters.
