Engineering Team Lead (Nuclear)

Location: Glasgow; hybrid working across home, office, and site. Restrictions relating to UK residency and nationality apply.

What you will do

• Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team supporting the safety, integrity, and performance of critical nuclear infrastructure.
• Lead engineering activities covering design changes, engineering substantiation, and assurance of Nuclear Safety Implicated Structures, Systems and Components.
• Ensure engineering solutions comply with regulatory requirements, design intent, and nuclear safety standards.
• Provide technical leadership across complex engineering activities in a highly regulated environment.
• Manage, prioritise, and coordinate the workload of technical teams.

Requirements

• Previous Design Authority experience, including design change processes and engineering governance.
• Mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering background with experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of engineering substantiation, design intent, and nuclear infrastructure requirements.
• Knowledge of relevant British and international engineering standards.
• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• SC Clearance and compliance with applicable UK residency and nationality restrictions.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting engineering assurance, safety case activities, or regulatory compliance in a highly regulated industry.
