What you will do
- Lead the development and implementation of HSE strategies, policies, programmes, and initiatives.
- Monitor HSE systems, standards, behaviours, and regulatory compliance across the project.
- Develop HSE audits, management plans, quality systems, and health and safety procedures.
- Drive safety and quality improvements, innovation, and a strong HSEQ culture across the business.
- Represent with clients and stakeholders, providing technical HSE input and assurance.
- Recruit, manage, and develop the HSE team while ensuring the function meets business requirements.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience on a COMAH site or in a high-hazard or regulated industry.
- Proven experience delivering HSEQ system and process improvements.
- Experience leading and managing safety and quality teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
- Degree qualification.
- IOSH Diploma or equivalent, CMIOSH, Lead Assessor certification for ISAS or equivalent, and CCNSG.
