Sales Agent (Insurance)

Location: Liverpool, UK; hybrid. Working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:30, including one in three Saturdays from 9:00 to 17:30.

Salary: £26,938–£28,609 per year, plus up to £2,000 performance-related bonus per annum once established in the role.

What you will do

• Quote and close new and renewal insurance business enquiries.
• Build and maintain long-standing client relationships.
• Amend customer policies, payments, schedules, and existing policy details.
• Retain existing clients at renewal and provide professional customer service.
• Work toward individual and team targets in an inbound sales environment.
• Handle sensitive information, follow data protection principles, and comply with FCA guidelines.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication, listening, and customer service skills.
• Confident, polite telephone manner with patience and empathy.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, problem-solving, multitasking, and effective time management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Previous insurance or financial services industry experience.
• Applicants must have at least one year remaining on a UK Graduate or Post-Study Work visa; visa sponsorship is not available.
