Lead Electrical Engineer (Consumer Electronics)

What you will do

• Define, select, design, implement, and qualify electrical systems embedded in video products.
• Collaborate with project and program managers, product managers, product designers, engineering teams, suppliers, design partners, and factories to establish product requirements.
• Evaluate competing products, technologies, concepts, systems, and components based on performance, user experience, risk, cost, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Own product electrical design from concept through manufacturing and conduct design reviews.
• Develop tools and test setups for electronic component and system characterization.
• Perform electrical characterization and product qualification covering power consumption, signal integrity, power integrity, EMC, and functional verification.

Requirements

• More than 7 years of practical experience in consumer electronics, particularly video products.
• Proven experience developing camera products such as webcams, conferencing systems, security cameras, or other imaging devices.
• Strong system-level understanding, including platform bring-up, thermal considerations, functional validation, and system integration.
• Experience with image sensors, camera modules, high-speed digital interfaces, power architecture, DC/DC systems, power sequencing, and low-power optimization.
• Experience with electrical validation, characterization, signal integrity, power integrity, noise analysis, EMC, and regulatory compliance testing.
• Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB design or review tools such as Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro, knowledge of EE lab instruments, and fluency in written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI vision, computer vision, or edge AI products.
• Experience with motor control systems, including stepper and BLDC motors.
• Knowledge of analog circuit design, RF systems, and RF testing.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field.
