SR PCB Designer

Location: Remote, United States; occasional travel may be required.

What you will do

• Design production-ready printed circuit boards that satisfy mechanical, electrical, RF, mixed-signal, and manufacturing requirements.
• Plan resources and manage complex, schedule-sensitive projects to meet customer delivery expectations.
• Collaborate with customers, engineers, and multidisciplinary design teams through web-based communication and project coordination.
• Investigate and resolve technical and project issues throughout the design lifecycle.
• Communicate project status, risks, milestones, and progress to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain project records and apply manufacturing-aware PCB layout practices to deliver reliable designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, or at least 12 years of professional PCB design and layout experience.
• Extensive knowledge of PCB layout techniques and the ability to balance mechanical, electrical, RF, mixed-signal, and manufacturing requirements.
• Expert proficiency with at least one major PCB design platform, such as Siemens Xpedition, Cadence Allegro, or Altium.
• Strong knowledge of IPC standards and PCB design and manufacturing practices.
• Experience independently managing technically complex or deadline-sensitive projects.
• Strong communication, organization, planning, prioritization, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
