C# Software Engineer (Optical Metrology)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain C# software for YieldStar optical metrology systems.
• Own feature and story-based development from refinement through delivery and maintenance.
• Align specifications with functional stakeholders and software platform teams.
• Apply robust engineering practices, review contributions, and safeguard software and product quality.
• Develop well-tested, documented, and maintainable software using disciplined design practices.
• Support pair programming, knowledge sharing, coaching, and continuous improvement across the department.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of professional experience with C#.
• Experience with software engineering in a hardware environment.
• Hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development and disciplined testing throughout the development cycle.
• Proficient English communication skills required.
• Strong communication, initiative, ownership, critical thinking, attention to detail, pragmatism, and perseverance.

Nice to have

• Interest in physics and optomechanics.
• Experience influencing without authority and coaching or guiding colleagues.
