What you will do

• Design, develop, prototype, and debug software for semiconductor equipment control systems.
• Implement real-time control for robots, motors, generators, pumps, flow controllers, and sensors.
• Troubleshoot complex software issues and develop bug fixes.
• Design user interfaces and create software specifications and documentation.
• Prepare test plans for simulators, test benches, and laboratory environments.
• Work with internal and external customers on requirements, troubleshooting, and project scheduling.

Requirements

• Professional experience with C and C++.
• Master’s degree with at least 1 year of professional experience, or Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of professional experience.
• Ability to solve moderately difficult to complex software problems and evaluate multiple technical solutions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to build consensus and collaborate with customers and technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time control, motion control, embedded programming, or multi-threading.
• Experience with CAN Bus, C#, .NET, Visual Studio, or Matlab.
• Experience with machine learning, analytics, data collection, storage, remote access, or security.
