Hydraulic Mechanic (Diesel and Heavy Equipment)

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines on heavy equipment and drill rigs.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, hoses, seals, and bearings.
• Maintain drill rigs, compressors, diesel generators, hydraulic power systems, and support machinery.
• Perform preventive maintenance, field breakdown repairs, and emergency maintenance.
• Diagnose fuel-system problems and hydraulic overheating, pressure loss, and abnormal flow.
• Read hydraulic and mechanical schematics and maintain service reports in accordance with safety procedures.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience working with drill rigs or heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, heavy equipment systems, hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, and control valves.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and pressure-testing equipment.
• Ability to read hydraulic and mechanical diagrams.
• Diesel mechanic or heavy equipment mechanic certification.
• English communication skills and the ability to obtain a driver’s license are required.
