Associate - Business Technology Project Lead (Fintech)

Salary: $145,000–$180,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead business-driven technology initiatives from planning through implementation and closure.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects, managing risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and portfolio impacts.
• Translate business priorities into actionable technology delivery plans.
• Coordinate end-to-end delivery across application development, infrastructure, operations, security, architecture, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Guide Project Managers and support consistent project governance, standards, and execution discipline.
• Prepare executive-level updates covering progress, risks, decisions, and business impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, training, military service, or education.
• 5+ years of experience with Java, JavaScript, APIs and vendor APIs, Jira, VMware virtualization, and Scrum methodology.
• 5+ years of knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle and experience in technology project or program management.
• Experience managing business-driven technology projects in complex enterprise or regulated environments.
• Experience with risk, dependency, issue, stakeholder, governance, change management, and operational risk management.
• Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Experience in financial services.
