M&T Bank is a financial institution hiring for its Enterprise Design System team.

What you will do

• Improve team delivery processes, operating rhythms, and day-to-day workflows across technology, design, content, and research.
• Facilitate planning, refinement, reviews, demos, retrospectives, triage, and other working sessions with clear agendas, decisions, and follow-up.
• Establish and maintain work intake processes for bugs, feature requests, new components, and system maintenance.
• Coordinate sprint and release execution by tracking scope, ownership, target dates, progress, blockers, risks, and dependencies.
• Create process documentation, meeting outputs, operational artifacts, and communication practices that improve team accountability.
• Track delivery and team health metrics, facilitate continuous improvement discussions, and propose practical process changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a combined minimum of 6 years of higher education and/or work experience including at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated facilitation skills for planning, refinement, review, retrospective, or similar working sessions.
• Ability to structure ambiguous work, coordinate across partners, identify gaps, and follow through on commitments.
• Experience creating or maintaining process documentation, team standards, and operational guidance.
• Experience improving team operating rhythms, work intake, requirements readiness, and delivery practices.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery approaches, including identifying risks, blockers, and process gaps.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting a design system or shared platform team.
• Experience in a financial or regulated enterprise environment.
• Fluency in Agile and Design Thinking practices.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or SharePoint.
