Sustainable Investing Research Analyst (ESG)

Location: Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom; hybrid work with at least four full days each week in the advertised office.

What you will do

• Deliver sustainable research and insights across companies, sectors, themes, and markets.
• Maintain ESG scoring models, research frameworks, datasets, documentation, and reporting processes.
• Support investment teams with sustainability integration, portfolio reviews, and portfolio decision-making.
• Monitor sustainability developments and regulatory requirements, including Principal Adverse Impacts.
• Support issuer dialogues, collaborative engagement initiatives, and relationships with external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with global stewardship functions and contribute to client-facing sustainability reporting and insights.

Requirements

• Experience delivering recurring sustainable research and project-based work, including issuer-specific or thematic analysis.
• Experience managing end-to-end research workflows, from sustainability data analysis through communicating findings to investment teams.
• Knowledge of sustainability analysis, investment management processes, stewardship, engagement practices, and relevant regulatory developments.
• Proficiency with ESG data providers, ratings tools, analytical methodologies, PowerPoint, Excel, and AI-enabled research and productivity tools.
• Strong analytical, written, verbal, collaboration, influencing, presentation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree required; relevant professional certifications or willingness to pursue them.
