Senior Relationship Director (Corporate Banking)

Location: Hybrid, based in Reading, Oxford, or London, UK; office attendance required at least 12 days per month. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

Salary: £84,000–£126,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional £6,000 car allowance per year.

What you will do

• Lead a portfolio of corporate clients, driving acquisition, growth, relationship management, and retention.
• Develop tailored funding and lending solutions in collaboration with Credit Risk, Portfolio Management, and Treasury.
• Act as a trusted adviser to clients and business introducers while strengthening the bank’s market profile.
• Manage credit, regulatory, and financial crime risks while maintaining portfolio quality and governance.
• Identify business development opportunities and support sustainable revenue and profitability growth.
• Coach and mentor Relationship Managers, and promote digital adoption through Salesforce and nCino.

Requirements

• Experience developing and executing business development strategies for corporate banking clients through existing networks and intermediaries.
• Advanced credit underwriting, financial analysis, financial crime risk, and portfolio management skills.
• Proven experience with corporate businesses and delivering high-quality client experiences.
• Strong knowledge of risks and mitigations, with excellent presentation, negotiation, analytical, and report-writing skills.
• Degree-level education or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Right to work in the UK is required to commence employment.

Nice to have

• Professional banking or finance qualifications such as Chartered Banker Diploma, ACIB, CFA, or ACCA.
• Advanced credit and risk analysis training or certification.
