(USA) Area Manager Asset Protection - All DC/FC

Location: Onsite in Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania, United States

Salary: $65,500–$98,000 annual salary, plus performance-based bonuses and possible regional pay zone and stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead asset protection activities, investigate theft, vandalism, security breaches, loss, and shrinkage, and maintain related records and reports.
• Support environmental, health, and safety compliance, including OSHA inspections, regulatory visits, facility audits, emergency preparedness, and hazard monitoring.
• Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
• Monitor transportation compliance, documentation, vehicle maintenance, hazardous materials paperwork, accident files, and performance metrics.
• Improve critical workflows and operational controls using continuous improvement methods.
• Supervise, hire, train, mentor, recognize, and develop associates while building accountability and supporting Walmart’s values.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, 2 years of Environmental, Health and Safety experience in supply chain, retail, manufacturing, engineering, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Total Productive Maintenance, World Class Manufacturing, or Lean Six Sigma in supply chain or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of asset protection, environmental compliance, OSHA requirements, workplace safety, risk management, and transportation regulations.
• Ability to conduct investigations, analyze data and reports, implement process controls, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
• Must work onsite at the Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania facility.

Nice to have

• Safety or loss prevention certifications, such as Associate Safety Professional, Loss Prevention Certification, or Certified Security Professional.
• At least 2 years of investigative or asset protection experience in retail or warehouse environments.
• Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and OneDrive experience.
