Group Financial Controller (E-commerce)

Location: Hybrid role in the London Head Office, with attendance on Tuesdays and Thursdays

hirify.global is an e-commerce group operating a listed-company Finance function across reporting, governance, technology, and transformation.

What you will do

• Own Group external reporting under IFRS, including half-year, full-year, and statutory reporting across jurisdictions.
• Lead the Group audit, manage external auditor relationships, and oversee internal audit and risk-based audit planning.
• Provide technical accounting leadership and prepare reporting for the Audit Committee and Board.
• Oversee consolidation, month-end reporting, budgeting, balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.
• Lead tax strategy and compliance, sustainability reporting, internal controls, treasury, liquidity, and financial risk management.
• Shape the Finance systems strategy across ERP, consolidation, and reporting tools while leading and developing a senior specialist team.

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification with significant post-qualification experience.
• Substantial experience with UK-listed businesses and deep knowledge of IFRS, listed-company reporting, and annual report cycles.
• Significant audit leadership experience, including management of complex audits and senior auditor relationships.
• Strong technical accounting judgement and experience with governance, controls, risk, and compliance.
• Experience engaging with senior executives, Boards, or Audit Committees.
• Strong leadership, prioritisation, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills in a fast-moving environment.

• Experience across tax, treasury, sustainability reporting, Finance systems, or transformation.
• Experience in e-commerce, technology, or another growth-oriented business.
