What you will do

• Act as the Group subject matter expert for accounting policy and technical accounting matters.
• Determine and document appropriate accounting treatment for new transactions and provide guidance to Finance teams.
• Own the development, maintenance, and communication of Group accounting policies across all entities.
• Identify and implement improvements for financial controls, governance, and finance processes.
• Lead initiatives to standardize key finance processes and reporting practices across the Group.
• Support the implementation of a new ERP platform, ensuring appropriate governance and policy alignment.

Requirements

• Accounting qualification (ACA or equivalent).
• Strong, up-to-date technical knowledge of IFRS.
• Experience developing accounting policies within a multi-entity, international organization.
• Proven experience managing technical accounting discussions with external auditors.
• Demonstrable experience improving financial controls and governance frameworks.
• Must be based in or able to commute to the London office (minimum 3 days per week).
