VP Finance (Maternity Leave Cover) (International Group Finance): Leading the day-to-day finance function across an international group with an accent on management accounts, statutory reporting, treasury, tax, controls, and compliance. Focus on improving financial reporting, managing multi-jurisdiction audits and lender covenants, and optimizing finance systems including Sage Intacct.
Location: Remote within the United Kingdom

What you will do
- Lead and develop the finance team and drive performance against KPIs.
- Own the group management accounts process and continuously improve financial reporting.
- Lead statutory accounts, external audits, and multi-jurisdiction compliance.
- Oversee group cash, treasury, banking relationships, and lender reporting, including covenants.
- Manage corporation tax, VAT, and R&D claims across the group.
- Optimize finance systems, including Sage Intacct.
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience.
- Experience leading a finance function within a multi-entity or international group.
- Experience managing external audits and statutory reporting.
- Confidence managing financial controls, balance sheet integrity, and month-end close.
- Strong Excel and financial systems skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Sage Intacct.
- Experience with debt facilities, lender reporting, or covenant management.
