What you will do

• Gather, question, process, and analyze facts and documentation to assess project claims.
• Develop strategies for asserting or defending claims and contribute to commercial and legal strategies with customers and suppliers.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for managing claims and disputes.
• Analyze project delays and guide project teams in documenting delays and other impacts.
• Collaborate with Commercial Project Management, Project Management, Quality, Procurement, and Legal to assess risks and manage disputes.
• Establish claims management processes, identify weaknesses, and train colleagues in effective claims handling.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Contract and Claims Management within the plant construction industry.
• Experience in the energy sector and battery projects is preferred.
• Technical, commercial, or legal degree.
• Ability to handle claims in both German and English.
• Experience asserting or defending claims, developing risk mitigation strategies, and preventing claims across EMEA markets.
• Strong judgment, leadership, collaboration, ethics, compliance, and safety awareness.
