TL;DR
Legal Counsel / Contract Manager (Commercial Law/Contract Management): Providing commercially focused legal advice and negotiating and managing agreements for an international semiconductor distribution business with an accent on regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and stakeholder partnership. Focus on solving complex legal and business challenges, improving contract management processes, and managing disputes and external counsel.
Location: Leipzig, Bernburg, or Poing (Germany), or Krakow (Poland); full-time, office-based role.

What you will do
- Provide practical legal advice on commercial, contractual, regulatory, compliance, and day-to-day business matters.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements and related legal documentation.
- Identify legal, commercial, and operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Monitor regulatory developments and help implement policies, processes, and legal best practices.
- Manage disputes and claims, including coordination and supervision of external counsel and budget oversight.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and improve legal and contract management processes.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of post-qualification experience gained in a law firm and/or in-house legal department.
- Fully qualified lawyer, admitted to practice in Germany or another relevant European jurisdiction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
- Strong expertise in commercial, contractual, regulatory, and compliance matters within an international business environment.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and provide practical guidance to non-legal stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with legal technology, contract management systems, and AI-enabled legal tools.
- Additional language skills.
- Experience leading smaller projects or coordinating external counsel.
