Legal Working Student (f/m/d)

What you will do

• Support commercial, corporate, and energy law matters, including OTC trading frameworks, platform contracts, and environmental commodity rules.
• Review, draft, and negotiate standard customer agreements, platform amendments, and third-party vendor contracts in German and English.
• Conduct legal research and prepare assessments on civil, contract, and financial regulatory topics, including BaFin compliance, REMIT II, GDPR, and NIS-2.
• Support AI-driven workflows, LLM and Gemini tools, process automation, and Legal Tech solutions for contract workflows, legal research, and document management.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Finance, and Management on business-relevant legal queries and platform developments.
• Monitor German and European regulatory developments in energy wholesale trading and digital financial markets.

Requirements

• Currently studying law, business law, or a comparable field, ideally with a focus on civil, commercial, or economic law.
• Initial theoretical or practical experience in commercial law, corporate law, contract drafting, or regulatory compliance.
• Analytical, structured, organized, and detail-oriented working style.
• Openness to digital tools, automation, AI assistants, and Legal Tech solutions.
• Fluency in written and spoken German and English is required.
