What you will do

• Design, build, and operate high-availability, multi-region cloud-native services with integrated security and observability.
• Develop event-driven architectures, multi-stage processing pipelines, and optimized data paths for high-throughput trade lifecycle management.
• Build production-grade AI solutions integrated with Java-based microservices and orchestrate AI coding agents across the SDLC.
• Partner with engineers, domain experts, and global stakeholders to digitize business processes and drive modernization.
• Manage software components through requirements analysis, design, development, testing, release, and production support.
• Create reusable capabilities for front-, middle-, and back-office Global Banking & Markets functions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional software development experience with Java; Java 17+ is preferred.
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and the ability to govern agents and assess AI-generated code quality.
• Experience building event-driven and distributed systems, including messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka.
• Strong SDLC practices, including version control, CI/CD, automated workflows, and code quality tooling.
• Experience with unit, integration, and acceptance testing, plus the ability to navigate and debug large codebases.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Spring Boot, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, Apache Camel, Spring Integration, Vert.x, or Netty.
• Experience with GCP or AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and JVM tuning.
• Observability, production support, data modeling, SQL/NoSQL databases, caching, and performance optimization.
• Enterprise security patterns, authentication, mutual TLS, secrets management, and certificate rotation.
• Equities, post-trade, financial services, trade lifecycle, position management, reconciliation, or multi-region BCP experience.
