General Manager, LA

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States. Los Angeles residency is required; this is an office-based role in Los Angeles.

Salary: Starting from $210,000 per year, plus annual bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Launch hirify.global’s Los Angeles market, including building the founding team, securing the fleet and chauffeurs, establishing operations, and preparing for the first ride.
• Own the Los Angeles P&L, brand, service standards, growth, client relationships, partnerships, and team performance.
• Lead four local functions: Driver Operations, Quality & Training, Sales, and Marketing.
• Define launch and expansion strategy across Los Angeles and surrounding markets.
• Drive business development and identify growth and partnership opportunities.
• Manage regulatory strategy, product collaboration, press, partnerships, and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM or Economics from a leading university.
• Minimum 7 years of total experience, including 5+ years in high-growth technology, investment banking, strategy consulting, venture capital, or private equity.
• Previous experience launching or scaling a market and hands-on operating experience.
• Excellent leadership, team management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional fluency in English.
• Based in Los Angeles.
