Entry-Level Wind Farm Service Technician (Wind Energy)

Location: Wind farm sites in the Netherlands, including Gelderland, Utrecht, Noord-Brabant, and Zuid-Holland

What you will do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on wind turbines and their mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Conduct inspections and assist with troubleshooting and diagnosing turbine malfunctions.
• Complete basic repairs and replace components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Follow environmental, health, and safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Participate in on-the-job training and collaborate with experienced technicians and team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Vocational education in electrical or technical studies, such as MBO 3/4, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Basic understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems and troubleshooting.
• Valid driver's license and commitment to safety and quality standards.

Nice to have

• Associate's degree or technical certificate in wind energy or a related mechanical or electrical field.
