Director of Business Development (Manufacturing & Logistics)

Location: Tampa, FL; onsite in the office every day, with visits to local businesses each week. Remote candidates will not be considered.

What you will do

• Build and cultivate strategic accounts and partnerships with manufacturing, operations, warehouse, and distribution leaders.
• Present hirify.global’s platform and communicate its value to decision-makers and operational stakeholders.
• Create onboarding roadmaps, define client success benchmarks, and support account retention and revenue growth.
• Develop target lists, generate demand through calls, email, social media, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and HubSpot, and maintain CRM data.
• Research market trends, monitor business development metrics, and identify scalable ways to attract clients.
• Collaborate with regional and product teams, provide product-market fit feedback, and coach a small team of Business Development Associates.

Requirements

• Direct experience working with or advising logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or related operational organizations.
• At least 2 years of professional experience after university or 5 years of work experience.
• Strong communication, storytelling, analytical, collaborative, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated results in exceeding goals and experience coaching or mentoring others.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in the Tampa office every day and visit local businesses each week; visits comprise less than 25% of working time.

Nice to have

• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement training or certification.
• Experience working with operations, finance, supply chain, and engineering teams.
• Experience with customers, external suppliers, or other stakeholders.
• Experience leading direct or indirect teams or taking on increased responsibility.
• Background in operations, industrial engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, process improvement, consulting, or operations project management.
