Junior Lab Admin (AI)

What you will do

• Support day-to-day operations across onsite and offsite labs and data center environments.
• Receive, organize, label, track, and audit systems, networking equipment, optics, cables, and accessories.
• Maintain asset records, rack elevations, deployment notes, and basic topology documentation.
• Perform rack and stack work, hardware installation, structured copper and fiber cabling, and physical readiness checks.
• Support power-up, connectivity, and hardware health checks during equipment bring-up and lab changes.
• Coordinate lab preparation, shipping and receiving, vendor deliveries, maintenance windows, access controls, and operational improvements.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in lab operations, data center support, IT infrastructure, or a related hands-on technical environment; equivalent hands-on experience may be considered.
• Experience with inventory handling, asset tracking, and maintaining accurate physical infrastructure records.
• Hands-on familiarity with rack and stack work, cable management, and hardware installation best practices.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, reliability, initiative, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently on routine operational tasks, follow standards, take direction, and collaborate with engineering, IT, logistics, and operations teams.
• Ability to lift and move lab equipment and work in physical infrastructure environments for extended periods as needed.

Nice to have

• Understanding of networking principles and technologies such as TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
