IT Specialist I (Networking)

Location: Los Angeles, CA; on-site event and client-premises support with travel up to 60%

Pay scale: $27.61–$28.85 per hour

What you will do

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, networks, workstations, and operational systems.
• Set up and install computers, access control systems, switches, cabling, and required software for clients, performers, and live events.
• Provide remote-hands assistance and support smaller projects, event operations, and special live events.
• Troubleshoot network, hardware, software, and access control issues and improve related procedures and applications.
• Coordinate with Client Support, Implementation, Account Management, and other teams on operational and event requirements.
• Manage inventory, including stock levels, shipments, records, and discrepancy resolution.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in IT support or a related role.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related technical field.
• Experience installing, troubleshooting, and supporting networking and workstation hardware on client premises.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Windows Server, Apple iOS, OSI network layers, TCP/IP, WAN devices, circuits, cabling, telephony, and Wi-Fi.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under stressful conditions and time constraints, including off-hours, on-call shifts, and weekends.
• Ability to lift, pull, or carry up to 100 pounds and travel up to 60% is required.
