Validation Engineer (Robotics)

hirify.global develops commercially scalable and safe hirify.global robots, including the HMND-01 Alpha platform used in industrial pilots.

What you will do

• Author structured test procedures covering setup, instrumentation, execution, acceptance criteria, and data capture.
• Define measurable acceptance criteria and sequence validation activities into test plans with systems owners and senior engineers.
• Set up and operate sensors, actuators, harnesses, electromechanical assemblies, and data acquisition systems.
• Execute tests, monitor conditions, record deviations, identify anomalies, and export structured datasets.
• Produce engineering reports with data tables, plots, test conditions, pass/fail outcomes, and observations.
• Support fault investigations, external test-house engagements, equipment maintenance, calibration, tooling coordination, and 5S activities.

Requirements

• Hands-on test and validation experience in robotics, aerospace, or automotive environments.
• Experience writing test procedures, test plans, or acceptance criteria from engineering requirements.
• Working CAD skills with SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar; able to edit models and design simple fixtures and jigs.
• Experience with electromechanical measurement equipment and at least one DAQ platform, such as National Instruments, Dewesoft, or HBK.
• Methodical troubleshooting skills, including isolating problems, proposing fixes, and verifying results.
• Familiarity with components used in robotics, aerospace, or automotive systems.

Nice to have

• Machine-tool and hand-tool skills for fabricating fixtures and jigs.
• Python or MATLAB for test-data processing or basic automation.
• Experience with 5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA, or other structured root cause analysis techniques.
• Experience coordinating sample preparation and logistics with accredited external test facilities.
