Quality Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Bath, UK; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Support the full lifecycle of Non-Conformance Reports, from evaluation and containment through investigation and closure.
• Assess non-conforming products and components and support quality inspections and fault investigations.
• Coordinate corrective actions and supplier quality activities.
• Contribute to product and process improvement projects and continuous quality improvement.
• Work with Production, Engineering, Quality, customers, and suppliers to identify root causes and prevent recurring defects.
• Help maintain compliance with internal and customer quality standards.

Requirements

• Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
• Competent IT skills, including standard business software and quality management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to have

• Experience in quality inspection, fault investigation, or non-conformance management.
