Product Development Manager, Rugs and Home Textile

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day product development timelines for new products, color and size extensions, vendor transitions, and product refreshes.
• Coordinate development status and dependencies across Merchandising, Sourcing, Fit, Technical Development, Materials, QA, Creative, and vendors.
• Prepare and maintain technical specifications, build documentation, testing requirements, fit inputs, and other product documentation.
• Coordinate sample requests, shipments, reviews, fit requests, revisions, testing, and approvals.
• Run in-person country development trips with global and local product development teams to accelerate decisions and improve vendor execution.
• Support material and finished-goods staging, photo-sample delivery, launch readiness, and real-time product development tracking.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product development or factory-facing roles.
• Deep expertise in product and material standards for the category.
• Extensive experience working directly with factories and sample rooms.
• Strong organization, analytical thinking, execution, problem-solving, and process-improvement skills.
• Clear communication across language, cultural, and functional boundaries, with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
