TL;DR
Data Steward - Master Data Management (SAP): Ensuring high-quality master data and supporting governance initiatives across an international manufacturing and logistics organization with an accent on data quality, metadata management, compliance, and SAP data processes. Focus on analyzing data quality issues, documenting data flows, supporting ETL and migrations, and driving sustainable process improvements.
Location: Hybrid in the Lisbon area or fully remote within Portugal

What you will do
- Ensure the quality, consistency, integrity, and ongoing maintenance of master data and related metadata.
- Analyze data quality issues and lead sustainable improvement initiatives.
- Document data flows, transformations, and business processes across the data lifecycle.
- Support data governance, compliance, security standards, ETL processes, data migrations, and validation activities in the SAP environment.
- Collaborate with business departments, IT teams, data owners, and international stakeholders.
- Manage data-related incidents, improve processes, and promote a data-driven culture.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Management, or a comparable qualification.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in Data Management, Data Governance, or Data Quality.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and data integration; SAP MDG experience is desirable.
- Familiarity with master data management, data quality, data governance, data privacy, compliance, and GDPR requirements.
- Experience with Python and process automation is desirable.
- English at minimum B2 level, confidence working with international teams, and willingness to travel occasionally.
