Analytics Team Lead

Location: Remote-first, with the ideal candidate based in Madrid or Barcelona, Spain; most colleagues are based in Spain. Visa sponsorship is not available, and candidates must already have the legal right to work in their country of residence or the role location.

What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of 2–3 analysts, organizing workload, priorities, sprints, and intake.
• Coach analysts in technical and professional development, quality, impact, and AI-first ways of working.
• Partner with the VPs of Individual Doctors and Clinics to identify business gaps and opportunities.
• Lead analytical deep dives, A/B tests, experiments, and quantitative analyses that inform business decisions.
• Build scalable data models, automations, and dashboards in Looker and/or Tableau across 13 markets.
• Translate business needs for BI, Data Platform, and Product Analytics teams and deliver AI-generated insights to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of relevant analytics experience, including 1–2 years leading analysts.
• Very strong SQL skills; BigQuery preferred. Python is advantageous.
• Experience designing scalable data models and automations, including AI-assisted querying and coding, shared libraries, and reusable architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Looker and/or Tableau, statistical modeling, regression analysis, and A/B testing.
• Professional fluency in English and the existing legal right to work in the country of residence or role location are required.
