Senior Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Design and develop complex injection-molded plastic components and mechanical sub-assemblies.
• Optimize assemblies for manufacturing, assembly, cost, and quality.
• Contribute hands-on to tooling design, tool reviews, and first-article inspections.
• Coordinate external suppliers and manufacturing partners.
• Guide junior mechanical design engineers and assure the quality of their work.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of professional experience in hardware or mechanical engineering.
• Experience with automotive, aerospace, defense, safety-critical products, consumer electronics, or other high-volume industries.
• Strong proficiency in CATIA V5.
• Deep experience designing injection-molded parts and assemblies for high-volume production.
• Experience collaborating with electronics, powertrain, propulsion, and systems engineers.
• Pragmatic, ownership-driven approach with a strong focus on quality.
