Senior Quality Engineer Propulsion (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Monitor the assembly, integration, and testing cycle of propulsion subassemblies.
• Plan and execute quality control activities, evaluate nonconformities, and define corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct regular site inspections and verify compliance with technical standards, tools, materials, and procedures.
• Support subsystem testing from the Quality function and propose solutions for test-related issues.
• Create quality and safety documentation, quality control plans, and related reviews.
• Organize product inspections and manage internal audits while improving product quality and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• University degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in a highly regulated production environment such as aerospace, defense, or automotive, including 3 years in Quality or Testing.
• Experience with valves, turbomachinery, combustion devices, fluid systems, or testing of subassemblies.
• Experience with statistical quality control, cause-effect analysis, 5 Why analysis, 8D reports, and Ishikawa diagrams.
• Good knowledge of AS 9100:2016 and ISO 9001:2015, plus Internal Auditor certification.
• Fluent English required; German is advantageous. A valid driver's license is required, and willingness to travel is preferred.

• Experience with APQP and ISO 9145.
