What you will do

• Design vehicle mechanisms through all phases until qualification and acceptance.
• Define requirements for vehicle mechanisms and drive trade studies.
• Coordinate development efforts with structures and propulsion teams.
• Create, review, and release development and flight hardware drawings and documentation.
• Identify and resolve build, test, and design optimizations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a full-cycle design engineering role.
• 5+ years of hands-on hardware build experience.
• Proficient German and English skills.
• Experience with kinematic synthesis, pneumatic/hydraulic actuation, and mechatronics.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and fatigue failure modes.

Nice to have

• Experience in structure and fluid systems for launch vehicles.
• Proficiency with NX, TeamCenter, Solidworks, or Ansys.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems and PLM.
