Consultant, Systems Analyst

Location: Hybrid; must reside within 35 miles of Scottsdale, Arizona, or Columbus, Ohio. The schedule is two days in the office and three days remote.

Salary: $118,000–$222,000 annually; expected starting range: $118,000–$178,000.

What you will do

• Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and technology professionals to understand needs, define outcomes, and align requirements with architecture and technical guardrails.
• Lead facilitation, visual management, stakeholder collaboration, and business alignment for complex requirements.
• Manage the complete requirements lifecycle from idea through implementation, including detailed documentation, verification, traceability, and maintenance.
• Analyze business processes, systems, data, usage, and performance measures to identify improvement opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Apply secure software and systems engineering practices throughout delivery to protect data and technology solutions.
• Coach less-experienced analysts and improve the consistency and repeatability of analysis and requirements practices.

Requirements

• Eight or more years of relevant experience in software delivery or a technology domain.
• At least five years supporting or managing policy administration software in the insurance industry.
• Extensive insurance industry knowledge, especially Excess and Specialty lines.
• Experience with Guidewire platforms, preferably Guidewire InsuranceNow, in implementation, major enhancements, or production support.
• Experience leading or coaching analysts and translating business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Must reside within 35 miles of Scottsdale, Arizona, or Columbus, Ohio. This position does not qualify for employer-sponsored work authorization, and hirify.global does not participate in the STEM OPT extension program.
