Principal Product Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Improve power, performance, and area (PPA) on critical customer designs.
• Analyze the physical design flow from netlist to GDSII, including floorplanning, power planning, placement, clock tree synthesis, and routing.
• Debug timing, congestion, power optimization, routing, and design-rule-check issues.
• Manage benchmarks and communicate activity issues and progress to customers.
• Multitask across multiple technical issues and collaborate with different teams.
• Work with R&D to discuss results and next steps for Innovus features.

Requirements

• 7–12 years of relevant experience.
• BE/BTech/ME/MS/MTech degree or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of physical design flow and timing concepts.
• Experience with technology nodes of at least 7nm, including 5nm and below.
• Excellent debugging and customer communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3nm or 2nm technologies.
