Principal Product Manager – Associate Enablement & AI Tools (AI)

Salary: $110,000–$220,000 per year

What you will do

• Define the vision, strategy, standards, and best practices for associate-facing tools, including the My Walmart app and AI agent platforms.
• Own large-scale platforms such as the Walmart Notification Platform and Activity Management Planner, overseeing feature development, stability, and integrations.
• Develop product roadmaps and prioritize features that improve associate productivity, AI agent guardrails, and performance.
• Analyze app usage, model performance metrics, and user feedback to identify product improvements and new agent capabilities.
• Lead collaboration with Business Operations, Security, Retail Intelligence, Data Science, InfoSec, Engineering, and Analytics teams.
• Establish benchmarks for responsiveness, AI response times, accuracy, safety compliance, and overall product quality.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible product management experience; or a bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of such experience.
• Experience with product roadmapping, prioritization, and backlog management using Jira.
• Experience with stakeholder communication using Confluence and Slack.
• Experience with UX principles, Figma, Sketch, SQL, Excel, Tableau, and Google Analytics.
• Experience with Scrum, Kanban, product development, project execution, user testing, surveys, and user acceptance testing in lower environments.
• Experience managing associate data privacy, AI model hallucination, agent reliability, and performance risks.
