Data & AI Product Manager

Location: Remote within the United States; travel up to 20% may be required.

Salary: $145,000–$165,000 USD per year, plus a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Shape the vision, strategy, roadmap, and backlog for a defined Data & AI product.
• Write requirements and acceptance criteria, prioritize tradeoffs, and guide refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and delivery follow-through.
• Define and report product success measures, including adoption, value delivered, performance, and data quality.
• Support adoption by engaging early users, partnering on enablement, and addressing barriers to use.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across business units and present product progress and recommendations to leadership and governance committees.
• Provide product direction and team leadership for the assigned engineering pod, including input into hiring, development planning, performance, and execution.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product ownership or product management experience, including Data, Analytics, or AI products delivered to production.
• Experience creating backlogs, requirements, and acceptance criteria for engineering and business stakeholders.
• Working SQL skills and familiarity with lakehouse architecture, layered data models, and data quality management.
• Experience defining product success metrics, communicating business value, and leading products rather than individual projects.
• Experience working with stakeholders across independent business units and supporting agile delivery with an engineering team.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, a related technical or quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience; strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in architecture, engineering, construction, or professional services, especially project accounting, resource planning, or design tooling.
• Experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog, or a comparable governed data platform.
• Experience with generative AI patterns such as retrieval, evaluation, and human review workflows.
• Prior experience as a data engineer, analyst, or software developer.
• Experience commercializing products or introducing products where adoption depended on enablement and demonstrated value.
