What you will do
- Create, maintain, and execute automation scripts for API testing and Selenium-based UI testing.
- Design and manage end-to-end testing activities across business projects.
- Translate business requirements into test cases and investigate testing needs.
- Identify gaps in unit-test case coverage and review software testing processes.
- Demonstrate automation scripts within the Scrum team and support quality improvements.
- Coordinate test deliverables, track project risks, and communicate status to stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in UI automation using Selenium.
- Expertise in at least one programming language, such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Strong knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with software development testing, test automation, and software process improvement.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada and, where applicable, a valid work or study permit.
- Ability to coordinate projects, investigate complex problems, communicate clearly, and work in an Agile team.
Nice to have
- API testing tools and experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Parasoft, Agile/Scrum environments, and banking.
