Senior QA Engineer, Performance

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week on-site at Toronto-81 Bay

What you will do

• Design, execute, and maintain performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios using NeoLoad, LoadRunner, and JMeter.
• Automate performance testing and integrate assessments into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks and root causes, and recommend application optimizations.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, product management, and business stakeholders to align and meet performance objectives.
• Enhance performance testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote performance engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in performance engineering and deep expertise in performance testing.
• Hands-on experience with NeoLoad, LoadRunner, and JMeter.
• Experience automating performance tests and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Scripting experience with Java, Python, or Groovy.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, leadership, and mentorship skills.
• Legally eligible to work in the specified location, with a valid work or study permit where applicable.
