What you will do

• Design and implement test strategies for new features within the Batch Analytics team.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for APIs and data pipelines using Java/Python.
• Review architecture and design decisions to evaluate risks and define testing scope.
• Coordinate exploratory testing and participate in bug hunts to improve user experience.
• Maintain automated test jobs in Jenkins pipelines and triage failures.
• Mentor junior team members and provide feedback during design and code reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software testing experience.
• Proficiency in Java or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda).
• Experience testing large-scale distributed systems and REST APIs.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Hadoop, Spark, or Airflow.
• Familiarity with DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, or Presto.
• Experience with accessibility, security, and performance testing.
