Vision Center Manager NL2

Location: Onsite at 26180 US Highway 70, Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico, United States

Hourly wage: $27.50–$37.50 per hour, plus performance-based bonuses and possible regional pay zone compensation.

Walmart operates retail Vision Centers that provide eyewear, optical consultations, and customer services.

What you will do

• Drive Vision Center sales through merchandise presentation, competitive pricing, inventory availability, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Provide customer service guidance and resolve customer concerns within company standards.
• Oversee eyewear consultations, product selection, measurements, prescription verification, minor frame repairs, and optical equipment maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, safety controls, asset protection, confidentiality, and quality assurance standards.
• Hire, train, mentor, supervise, assign duties to, and recognize Vision Center Associates.
• Coordinate operational assignments, stakeholder relationships, performance goals, improvement plans, and community outreach activities.

Requirements

• Completion of two or more years of college, or qualifying combinations of retail, supervisory, general work, and optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable New Mexico state laws, regulations, and rules.
• Experience supervising Associates is preferred.
