Salary: $37.00–$45.00 per hour, plus possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Assist members with optical purchasing decisions, product selection, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Measure, adjust, and repair frames and lenses.
• Complete eyewear and contact lens orders and verify prescription information.
• Collect payments for doctor services and perform and record optometric pretest results.
• Receive, stock, organize, price, and secure optical merchandise while maintaining displays.
• Maintain the optical sales floor, process claims and returns, identify shrink and damage, and complete required documentation.

Requirements

• Licensed optician qualification is required by the position.
• Ability to provide member service and assist with optical purchasing decisions.
• Ability to measure, adjust, and repair frames and lenses.
• Ability to verify prescriptions, process optical orders, handle payments, and maintain records.
• Ability to work onsite at the Gastonia, North Carolina location.
