HVAC Controls Service Technician (HVAC)

Location: Springfield, Missouri; on-site customer service and office collaboration required

Salary: $16.64–$49.92 per hour

What you will do

• Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up commercial HVAC systems.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for service and maintenance in an assigned market.
• Diagnose and repair equipment and systems at customer locations using software, handheld technology, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
• Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, and customers to plan installations and repairs, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize on-site work.
• Maintain safety standards and track the use, condition, and accountability of company assets.
• Work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as business needs require.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 5 or more years of HVAC experience.
• Knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts.
• Microsoft Office and handheld computer proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months with an acceptable driving record.
• EPA Certification required. Must safely perform physical work involving ladders, rooftops, confined areas, standing, climbing, kneeling, and lifting equipment.
